GO Transit says service resumed just before 9 a.m. on the Barrie line after a pedestrian was struck and killed by a train.
Train service was temporarily suspended Tuesday morning following an investigation into what GO Transit described as a "trespasser fatality."
GO officials say the incident occurred around 6:30 a.m. north of the Aurora GO station.
Service to Toronto's Union Station resumed just before 8:30 a.m.
York Regional Police were on the scene but there were no immediate details about the pedestrian death.
