An Owen Sound man has died, following a head-on crash on Highway 26 in Meaford.
According to OPP, an eastbound Kia Soul crossed the centre line of the highway and collided head-on with a westbound tractor trailer.
The crash happened on a section of Highway 26, just east of Grey Road 5 at around 8 a.m.
The driver and lone occupant of the Kia had to be extricated from the vehicle. The 61-year-old man was taken to hospital, where he died of his injuries.
The driver of the tractor trailer, a 48-year-old Mount Forest man, was uninjured.
Provincial police closed Highway 26 for several hours, but has since reopened.
