No one was injured after fire destroyed a car in Barrie on Friday afternoon.
Barrie Fire was called to the Wellington Plaza just after 4 p.m. after an older model Oldsmobile caught fire.
When firefighters arrived, the car was engulfed in flames. They were able to put out the fire in just over five minutes but the car was destroyed.
Fire officials say the cause of the fire was a battery in the rear of the vehicle.
