There’s good news for hockey and movie fans alike, as the sequel to the 2011 hockey film “Goon" has started production in Barrie.
Barrie native Paul Sarrosy is the chief cinematographer for “Goon: Last of the Enforcers” which is a sequel to the 2011 movie, “Goon”.
It's a comedy about life in the minor hockey leagues and some colourful characters on the teams. The film is being shot all this month at the Barrie Molson Centre.
The inside of the Barrie Molson Centre has been fully dressed with the film's Halifax Highlanders’ championship banners and logos.
