Car fire destroys home

A car fire that started in the garage destroyed an entire home.

Shortly after midnight Friday, the West Grey Fire Service was summoned to a house fire at a home on Highway 6 in Southgate Township north of Shelburne.

Provincial police arrived to find the residents of the home safe outside, but the residence itself fully engulfed in flames.

Police have stated they did not find the fire to be of a suspicious nature.
