Young driver accused of speeding 180km/h on Highway 400 while impaired

Provincial police handed a 22-year-old driver accused of being impaired a lengthy licence suspension after conducting a traffic stop along Highway 400 over the weekend.

The Aurora OPP officer clocked the car allegedly speeding 180 kilometres per hour south of County Road 88 in Bradford on Saturday evening.

The male driver from Midland faces criminal charges of dangerous driving, stunt driving and impaired driving.

He was subject to a 90-day licence suspension and a 14-day vehicle impoundment.
