Hydro crews are responding to downed power lines on County Road 27 near Thornton this afternoon.
Hydro One is reporting an outage on County Road 27. There are crews on scene where a pole has snapped. There are wires on the ground and dangling from the pole.
It also appears a tree has snapped and fallen in the area as well.
Environment Canada says the area is seeing wind gusts of up to 85 kilometres per hour today.
