Jamie May has been playing the lottery for years, and couldn’t believe her luck when she scanned the ticket she purchased on 45th Street at Real Canadian Superstore in Wasaga Beach on the OLG app.
“When I saw that I had won, I started to freak out, screaming, ‘I just won $100,000!’ I was jumping up and down, when my husband and daughter came running to see what all the commotion was about,” she recalled.
May shared the news with more family and said they were in disbelief. “At first, no one could believe it, but they were thrilled for me.”
She plans to let her good fortune sink in fully before making any plans with her windfall.
“Winning feels unbelievable. It’s still hard to believe, but I am very grateful,” May said.
Encore can be purchased for $1 in conjunction with most lottery games.
The next Lotto Max draw is on Friday with an estimated $27 million jackpot up for grabs.
