After two consecutive days the heat warning has ended.
Environment Canada had issued a heat warning that lasted the weekend as temperatures felt upwards of 40 degrees throughout the region.
A cold front moving towards southern Ontario also prompted several thunderstorm watches and warnings Sunday afternoon, which have now ended.
The cold front should bring an end to the heat and Monday is expected to be noticeably cooler and less humid.
