Driver airlifted to hospital after serious crash in Caledon

One person suffered serious injuries in a collision in Caledon Monday afternoon.

Provincial police say the driver, whose identity was not provided, was airlifted to the hospital following the crash at Castlederg Sideroad and The Gore Road.

Police closed The Gore Road between Old Church Road and King Street, and Castlederg Sideroad between Centreville Creek Road and Humber Station Road.

Motorists are asked to avoid the area.
