Teen arrested, several suspects on the run following armed home invasion, vehicle theft
A 17-year-old boy faces several charges and police are on the hunt for several more suspects following an armed home invasion and theft in Orillia.
Provincial police say officers were called to a home in the area of Westmount Drive and Arthur Street around 2 a.m. on Tuesday for reports multiple armed suspects had broken in and stolen personal items.

Police say the suspects and the homeowner's vehicle were gone before officers arrived.
Officers from the OPP, Barrie, South Simcoe, York Region and Toronto services joined the search for the suspects, and police say they located the stolen vehicle on Highway 11 in Oro-Medonte, along with a second vehicle that had been reported stolen.
Police officers safely stopped one of the vehicles and took the young driver into custody.
The 17-year-old, whose identity is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, faces 10 criminal charges in connection with the home invasion and vehicle theft allegations.
OPP says the stolen vehicle from Orillia was later found abandoned in Toronto.
Police believe there are more suspects and urge anyone with video footage or an eyewitness account of the incident to contact the authorities at 1-888-310-1122.
