Suspect in custody after early-morning home invasion

A Caledon home was broken into in the early hours of Thursday morning.

Caledon provincial police were called to a house on Ann McKee Street for a report of a home invasion in progress at 5 a.m.

Police arrived at the home and later arrested a suspect, who remains in police custody.

Police say the suspect was driving a black Jeep Wrangler and are looking for home security or dashcam footage in the area between 5:15 a.m. and 6 a.m.

Police believe this was a targeted incident and does not pose a danger to the community.
