Police are investigating after they say several firearms and other valuables were stolen from a home in Tiny Township.

Provincial police officers with the Southern Georgian Bay detachment were called to a residence near Overhead Bridge Road and Concession 12 on Sunday for a reported break-in.

Police say the incident happened days before it was reported.

Among the allegedly stolen items was a gun safe containing three handguns: a Browning .22 calibre handgun, a CZ9 9mm handgun, and a Smith and Wesson 939 revolver. The gun safe is described as a Huntshield model.

Police are trying to gather more information about the theft and ask anyone with details to come forward.

It was not disclosed how the suspect(s) gained entry to the home.

The investigation is ongoing, and authorities urge anyone with information that could help to contact the OPP or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers.
