One person was taken to the hospital after a pickup truck crashed into an east end Barrie home.

Police say the incident happened shortly before 10 Monday morning on Cundles Road East.

The driver suffered what police described as non-life-threatening injuries.

No one was at home at the time.

A building inspector attended the scene to assess the damage, and requested the homeowner to restrict access to the front portion of the home until remedial action can be completed.

Police did not specify the cause of the collision or whether any charges would be filed.
