Pedestrian killed in Ramara Twp.
Police are investigating an area of Highway 12 near Sideroad 15, where a pedestrian was struck and killed.
Police say a 20-year-old Orillia man was pronounced dead at the scene Wednesday at around 10:30 p.m.
The OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) team attended the collision scene to assist with the investigation.
Highway 12 South was closed for several hours for the investigation and has since been re-opened.

Orillia OPP encourages pedestrians to wear bright, light-coloured clothing or reflective strips, especially in low-light or dark conditions. Drivers are reminded to always be on the lookout for pedestrians and animals when driving.
The OPP ask witnesses to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or call Crime Stoppers to remain anonymous at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
