Two Barrie outdoor rinks that had initially opened for the season have been temporarily closed on Sunday due to weather.

In a social media post Sunday morning, City of Barrie staff stated that the skating rinks at Circle at the Centre (City Hall) and Will Dwyer Park (Lakeshore Drive) have been closed due to inclement weather.

According to the City’s website, Circle at the Centre and Will Dwyer Park Community Ice Rink are the only two rinks in Barrie that are ‘temporarily closed’ while all others are listed as ‘not yet open for the season.’
