OPP appeals for information in Alliston death investigation

Provincial police investigating a man’s death in Alliston are appealing for information from the public.

Officers responded to a sudden death at a Victoria Street residence in the early afternoon on Dec. 31 after the body of a 38-year-old man was found.

Police say there are no concerns for public safety.

Officers with the Nottawasaga OPP Major Crime Unit seek any video footage, such as a doorbell camera, security video or dash camera footage that could help in the investigation.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Nottawasaga OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
