Man barricades self in home in Georgian Bluffs

A man barricaded himself in a Sussex Square home after a disturbance was called into the police.
Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrived on scene in Georgian Bluffs at 5:50 a.m. Thursday morning.
There was a large police presence in the area including, the OPP's West Region Tactics and Rescue Unit (TRU), West Region Emergency Response Team (ERT), crisis negotiators and the canine unit.
Police asked residents to stay clear of the neighbourhood early Thursday.
The man was taken into custoday at approximately 1 p.m.
Police confirmed they didn't lay charges and that there was no threat to public safety.
