Perched on a snowbank at the end of a driveway, one driver was determined to be impaired.

The tip came in to Huronia West Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) at around 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday that a driver on South Orr Lake Road may be impaired.

Police arrived a short time later and found a car resting on a snowbank with all four tires off the ground.

Officers noticed the smell of alcohol on the man’s breath and soon charged him with operation of a vehicle while impaired.

A 49-year-old Springwater Township man has a court date later this month.

Anyone with information about crime in the community is asked to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
