Two people escaped a house fire early Thursday morning in Wasaga Beach.
Wasaga Fire says the fire started on Melrose Avenue just after 4:30 a.m. inside a single storey home.
The two occupants managed to escape unharmed, however a dog was lost in the fire.
It’s believed the fire started in one of three bedrooms and is being deemed accidental.
Damage is estimated at approximately $75,000.
