Ontario's Special Investigations Unit is looking into a fatal shooting involving Toronto police.
It happened just after midnight Friday.
The SIU says officers were investigating a man on a streetcar on Dundas Street west of Bathurst when there was some sort of altercation.
The unit says the man was subsequently taken to hospital with a gunshot wound and died.
No other details have been released.
