A man is facing three charges after fighting with bar staff and resisting arrest from Barrie Police early Friday morning.
Police got a call just after 1:45 a.m. after reports of a man fighting with bar staff in downtown Barrie.
Officers arrived on scene and found the man being restrained by security staff. After their investigation, police determined the man became irate for no reason and began attack the security staff.
Police handcuffed the man and were escorting him to the cruiser when he began to flail and push his body on to the officers and attempted to kick them.
Barrie Police officers feared the man was under the influence of drugs and had him taken to RVH to be treated.
The man is facing three charges including, assault and resisting arrest and was released on a promise to appear at a future court date.
