Firefighters have a massive apartment fire in Bradford under control and mostly extinguished.
Bradford fire crews were called to the apartment building on John Street East between Allan Lane and Barrie Street on Monday, just after 3:30 p.m. Large flames and billowing black smoke could be seen coming from the building.
An investigation still has to be conducted, but fire officials believe the blaze started in the roof. Crews from Innisfil and New Tecumseth were called in to provide mutual aid. No injuries are reported.
Meanwhile, South Simcoe Police have closed off the road and the public is being asked to avoid the area.
