Four kite surfers are safe after being rescued during the storm on Friday near Christian Island on Georgian Bay.
A military Hercules plane was sent in to search for the missing surfers.
The coast guard was also called, but it was an OPP boat that made it through 12 foot waves to rescue the four people.
