A woman is in hospital tonight after an accident on Kempenfelt Bay.
Barrie police say two kayakers became stranded after their kayaks flipped over in the cold water this afternoon.
As they were swimming to shore, they were rescued by a boater who was passing by.
Paramedics rushed one woman off to hospital - where she is now recovering from hypothermia.
Police say the other person was not injured.
