K9 unit called in to help search for 9-year-old boy

BARRIE -- A canine unit was sent out to help search for a 9-year-old boy after he was separated from his family while snowshoeing.

The incident took place along Wasaga Beach Provincial Park on Sunday evening.

OPP responded to the scene along with a canine unit and aviation services.

The boy was located three hours later, next to the river unharmed.
