Highway 400 in Innisfil has reopened after a truck carrying gravel was involved in a rollover crash last night.
OPP say the crash happened at around 6:30 p.m. on Monday, along Highway 400 south approaching Highway 89.
The truck was hauling a trailer filled with gravel, when it crashed and rolled into a grassy area. The driver was taken to hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
A heavy tow truck had to be brought in to remove the truck. The gravel being hauled spilled across the highway; the road was also damaged in the crash.
Provincial police closed the highway for nearly 12 hours, while crews cleaned up the spill and grinded down the asphalt.
OPP reopened the road shortly after 9 a.m. on Tuesday.
