Temperatures are expected to hit a high of 22C on Thursday, dipping slightly to 19C by 6 p.m. when most ghouls and goblins will take to the streets to fill their bags with sweet treats.
Environment Canada predicts light rain on Thursday for the Barrie area, starting around 4 p.m., so while the kids can leave the winter gear at home, they may want to pack an umbrella.
The drizzly weather is expected to linger through the evening until around 10 p.m.
And don't get too comfortable, temperatures will plummet back to being more seasonal by Friday, with daytime highs around 6C under a mix of sun and clouds.
