It was an emotional day in Elmvale.
A family that's benefitted from the world class expertise of the staff at SickKids came up with a unique way to pay it forward.
And it was all done in the name of a two-and-a-half year-old girl, called Mila. Mila's mother donated 30% of her liver to help save her daughter.
This is the second year for the fundraiser. Last year more than $15-thousand was donated to the SickKids Liver Transplant Foundation. They hope to top that this year, with all ticket sales to the zoo Thursday going toward the cause.
