A call to police about a suspicious vehicle netted a driver who allegedly blew nearly four times the legal limit.

Provincial police arrived at Ella Court in Caledon shortly after 6 p.m. Thursday.

As police spoke with the individual, they determined he could be impaired by alcohol.

Police tested the Caledon man’s BAC (blood/alcohol concentration) level and found it was nearly four times the legal limit.

The 41-year-old man was charged with operating a vehicle while impaired. His licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle impounded for seven.

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville on November 14.

Police reiterate that if you suspect a driver is impaired, call 911 to report it or provide information anonymously by contacting Peel Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
