A Caledon driver has been charged after allegedly being clocked going 114 km/h over the speed limit.
Provincial police say a Mercedes-Benz was travelling at 194 km/h on Creditview Road, just north of Old School Road on Saturday. The posted speed limit is 80 km/h.
The vehicle was stopped and the driver, a 38-year-old Caledon man, was charged with racing. His licence has been suspended and his vehicle impounded.
He will appear in court at a future date.
