Brazen theft at Herbert’s Boots

An iconic Alliston store was the scene of a brazen theft on December 22, police say.
A man entered the store and was seen looking at a dark green Carhartt sweater.

When the store owned turned away, Nottawasaga Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) said the man stuffed the coat under his jacket and fled the store – setting off the alarm in the process.
The sweater has an approximate value of $100.
Police are asking for the public’s assistance to identify the individual shown in the CCTV footage.
