Barrie police search for individuals linked to alleged stabbing
Barrie police are searching for several individuals who they say are linked to an alleged stabbing.
On Saturday, police received reports of an assault on Dunlop Street after they say a victim suffered a minor stab wound between the hours of 2:30 a.m. and 3:15 a.m.
In an effort to find the suspects, investigators visited an address in the area of St. Vincent Street and Rose Street on Saturday afternoon.
Officers conducted a traffic stop after three males left the property in a vehicle and attempted to flee.

Police say they arrested two men, a 30-year-old from Scarborough and a 23-year-old of Brampton, who are now facing a number of firearms and drug charges, though they were identified as not being persons of interest in the Dunlop Street incident.
They say a third man fled the scene. While officers attempted to track him, police say they discovered a loaded handgun and a quantity of drugs that they believe the man tossed.
"The third individual that was in the vehicle and fled was believed to have been with the person responsible for the stabbing at the time of the assault. These individuals are still being sought by police," local authorities noted.
Barrie police have released a series of photos of individuals who may have been involved in or witnessed the alleged assault on Dunlop Street. They are asking for the public's help in identifying them.
Anyone with information in relation to this incident is asked to contact Det. Const. Mulhall via email.
