Barrie police were kept busy early Sunday morning after responding to a loose pot belly pig on Hickling Trail.
Officers were called to the area around 7:30 a.m. after receiving a call for a large pot belly pig running down the street.
Police were able to catch the pig, Isabelle, which they say is a domestic pet. Officers located the hog’s home on a nearby street and returned it to its grateful owner.
Police say Barrie Bylaw will be following up with licensing issues.
