Provincial police are investigating a home invasion that happened early Friday morning in Tay Township.

Police say three unknown male suspects entered the home on Bayview Avenue in Midland Bay Woods around 4:40 a.m. with a firearm and “took physical control of the two occupants.”

Police say the suspects searched the home and left a short time later.

The residents, while shaken, were physically uninjured.

It’s unclear if anything was stolen. No arrests have been made.

Police have not said whether this was a targeted or isolated incident.

Investigators ask anyone with information or home surveillance video of the area to contact the OPP or Crime Stoppers to remain anonymous.
