Fire crews responded to a vehicle fire on Baseline Road near Ellery's Sideroad Monday afternoon.

Tiny Township Fire and Emergency Services told CTV News that a 9-1-1 call came in at around 4 p.m. about a Dodge Nitro on fire. OPP and Simcoe County Paramedics also responded to the scene.

No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is unknown at this time. Officials say the vehicle is likely a total loss.

The roadway was closed around the scene as crews extinguished the fire and cleaned the area. It was reopened as of 5:15 p.m., according to Southern Georgian Bay OPP.
