York Regional Police are asking for the public’s help after a robbery at a gas station in Whitcurch-Stouffville.

According to police, a man walked into a gas station in the area of Woodbine Avenue and Stouffville Road on Monday at around 7:45 p.m. Police say the man indicated he had a handgun and demanded cash.

The clerk handed over a quantity of money and the suspect fled the scene. No one was injured in the robbery.

The suspect is described as a 50 to 60-year-old white male, 5’6” with a medium build and white facial hair.  He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black hoodie and a Toronto Blue Jays world champion shirt.
