Two suspects wanted in New Tecumseth on mischief offences

Provincial police are asking for the public's help in locating a person of interest after an attempted break and enter.

Police say it happened at a home on Highway 9 in New Tecumseth around 2 a.m. on December 13.

A man, described as having a Caucasian complexion, was seen walking around the home, wearing a small backpack and balaclava.

He fled once officers arrived.

Then two days later in New Tecumseth, officers responded to a mischief complaint at a home on Knight Street around 11 p.m.

Video shows a Caucasian male wearing a red sweater and black baseball cap getting out of a white, four-door sedan and appeared to then slash all four tires.

Police are describing this individual as a person of interest.
