Two people have now been arrested in connection with an early morning home invasion in Caledon.

Provincial police say officers were called to an Ann McKee Street residence around 5 a.m. on Thursday for a home invasion in progress.

Police have arrested two Caledon men, both in their 20s, after executing a search warrant at a residence where officers allegedly seized a handgun, ammunition, and a stolen Porsche, among other property.

The two accused face several charges.

Investigators believe this was a targeted incident, and say there is no imminent threat to public safety.

They ask anyone with surveillance or dash camera footage of the area on Thursday between 5:15 a.m. and 6 a.m. to contact the Caledon Major Crime Unit at 1-888-310-1122.
