Both new homes are yet to be unoccupied, he said, adding one of the new houses is "a total loss."
Both the Ontario Fire Marshal’s office and the South Simcoe Police Service are considering the fires suspicious.
This isn't the first time houses on Rowe Street in Bond Head have ignited due to suspected arson.
On October 7, another new house went up in flames unexpectedly.
At that time, a statement from South Simcoe Police said that three homes in Bond Head had also been targeted in the past year.
