School bus and van cancellations in areas hit by storm
It's a snow day revisited for some students.
While Highway 11 opened at 10 p.m. in both directions between Orillia and Huntsville Monday, many smaller roads are still hazardous and are still digging out from under the 140 centimetres that landed over the weekend.
Bus Cancellations
- Trillium Lakes School District has cancelled its buses for Tuesday, including Bracebridge and Muskoka Lakes schools, as well as Gravenhurst-area schools.
- Simcoe Muskoka Transportation Consortium has only cancelled buses and vans to St. Dominic’s Secondary School and Monsignor Michael O’Leary Catholic School in the District of Muskoka.
- All school buses and vans for St. Mary’s Elementary School in Huntsville will run as scheduled.
- Grey Bruce counties have cancelled buses to Notre Dame Catholic School, St. Mary's High School, Hillcrest Elementary School, Owen Sound District Secondary School and St Basil's.
