Program offers to help cover costs of snow removal for eligible residents
Eligible residents in Wasaga Beach can apply for some financial help with snow removal this winter.
The Town of Wasaga Beach will provide financial grants up to $400 to low-income seniors and individuals with disabilities through its Snow Removal Financial Assistance Program.
The program helps cover the costs of hiring someone to remove snow from driveways.

To qualify for the grant, residents must be 65 or older, or have permanent physical mobility restrictions, with no one living in the home capable of removing snow from the property.
To apply, residents need to download the application or contact the Town at 705-429-3844 for an application.
Completed applications and reimbursement forms and receipts can besent via email, mail or dropped off at the Town Hall Treasury Department on Lewis Street.
Applications for the grant will be accepted until January 24.
