Pianos take centre stage in Collingwood's downtown

Share

The streets of downtown Collingwood are alive with the sound of music as nine refurbished pianos are placed throughout the area for those with a love of music to enjoy.

This marks the 10th year of the town's music program that invites residents and visitors to share the gift of music.

"It's an amazing program, and it really brings joy to everyone and really compliments what we do from an artist's perspective down here," noted Susan Nicholson, general manager of the Collingwood Business Improvement Association.

The pianos can be found in various locations, including in front of the Federal Building, near Town Hall and Tremont Square, and are free to play.

The Keys to Collingwood Piano Music Festival runs until Labour Day.
