Riding Profile
The mostly rural riding includes Dufferin County and Orangeville, Caledon, and Shelburne.
There are stately homes, upscale older downtowns, tree-lined streets and Victorian housing. Outer areas are modern suburbia with box-stores for retail opportunities.
Other centres include Grand Valley and Mono Centre.
Manufacturing is the big employer with some agriculture, particularly in beef, hog, and dairy farming, accounting for the labour force. Caledon is primarily rural in nature.
Orangeville has some construction industry but most business is standard for the area and for the needs of citizens.
