Orillia woman in disbelief after winning $250,000 with lottery
A woman from Orillia is still trying to come to terms with her quarter-of-a-million-dollar lottery win.
Cynthia Sherman won the top prize of $250,000 with a $10 Instant Bingo Multiplier scratch ticket she purchased at the Circle K on Westmount Drive South in Orillia.
The retiree started playing the lottery about five years ago and said she prefers scratch tickets.
When she checked her Bingo ticket while visiting a friend, she was in disbelief.
"It's been a month since then, and I still can't believe it," she said.

She has plans to pay off some bills and invest her winnings.
