Naked man busted for assault in Muskoka

A naked man running down Old Muskoka Road was busted by police.

Provincial police say their investigation on Thursday, shortly after noon, revealed the man had been “acting strangely” and became violent towards another person.

The victim was struck by an object and then physically assaulted.

Paramedics assessed the victim, who did not require further medical attention.

A 34-year-old Huntsville man was charged assault causing bodily harm, assault with a weapon and for failing to comply with a probation order.

He remains in custody and will be appearing before the Ontario Court of Justice on October 31 at 9 a.m.
