After receiving several complaints from the public, police attended a Yonge Street, Midland church service to remove an unruly visitor on Sunday.

Police arrested the man and determined he was allegedly responsible for stealing an item from a local convenience store and breaching his probation.

He was also wanted by a southern Ontario police service.

While the accused was being transported to the Niagara Falls area, the OPP in-car camera system was damaged.

A 32-year-old man of no-fixed-address was charged with obstructing a peace officer, theft under $5,000, three counts of failing to comply with probation orders and mischief for destroying property.

He also faces charges of being intoxicated in a public place, having open liquor in an unauthorized place and littering.
