Man, 62, charged with stealing $60K in materials from employer

A 62-year-old man has been charged after police received a report about an employee stealing over $60,000 worth of materials from a Huntsville business.

The alleged theft was reported earlier this week after the construction materials went missing.

Police say officers recovered the items two days later in Haliburton.

Following his arrest, the Algonquin Highlands Township man was released on an undertaking with a future court date scheduled.
