A 45-year-old Keswick man is facing a number of charges after a 12-year-old boy was allegedly sexually assaulted in Bradford.

South Simcoe Police was contacted on Monday by a woman who reported her son had been assaulted by an adult male friend.

Police began an investigation and on Monday they arrested and charged the man.

The accused was charged with two counts of sexual assault, two counts of sexual interference and one count of sexual touching.

The man was in court for a bail hearing on Thursday and released under strict conditions. He will be back in court next month.

Police say the man is a personal support worker in York Region and investigators are concerned there may be other victims.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
