An Alliston man faces a series of charges following what police called a family dispute early Monday afternoon.

Provincial police say officers were called to a Tupper Street East home and discovered one family member who had already left wasn’t allowed to be at the residence due to court conditions.

The officers found the vehicle he left in a short time later and conducted a traffic stop.

Police say along with violating his probation order, he was driving while prohibited and was placed under arrest for an outstanding warrant.

The 35-year-old man was charged with a total of seven charges, including driving a vehicle with no plates or permit.
